Calendly alternative

The Calendly alternative for coaches and therapists who run a practice

Calendly books a meeting. zenyogi runs a practice: 1:1 sessions, group classes, passes, invoices and a client-facing site. If you only need a free link for 1:1 calls, Calendly is fine.

  • Free plan
  • 1:1 and group
  • PDF invoices

Who this is for

  • You are a coach, therapist, Heilpraktiker or nutrition consultant with paying clients.
  • You run group sessions or workshops next to your 1:1 work.
  • You want a simple site with your offers, schedule and checkout in one place.

Not for you if

  • You only need a free link for 1:1 calls. Calendly does that well.
  • You need two-way sync with Google or Outlook calendars.
  • You route leads across a sales team with round robin.
Why practitioners switch

A meeting link is not a practice

Once clients pay you, book groups and ask for invoices, a scheduling link stops being enough. These are the three things coaches and therapists add first.

Passes for groups and 1:1

Sell class packs, memberships and 1:1 session packs. Clients book group sessions, workshops and private sessions against them.

Invoices as PDF

Create a PDF invoice for any payment, or write one by hand. EUR invoices can carry a GiroCode for bank transfer.

A site, not a link

Your landing page, group schedule, 1:1 services and shop on one hosted site, on your own domain if you like.

Be honest

What you give up by leaving Calendly

Calendly is excellent at scheduling. If these matter most, stay with it or use both.

  • Calendar sync

Calendly connects your Google or Outlook calendars and checks them for conflicts. zenyogi has no calendar sync; clients can add a booking to their calendar with a file download.

  • Round robin and team routing

Calendly's Teams plan spreads meetings across a team and routes leads with forms. zenyogi has no round robin.

  • A large integration catalogue

Calendly lists 100+ integrations. zenyogi connects to Stripe, PayPal and email, and keeps the rest inside the app.

  • A free plan with no fees

Calendly's free plan has no payment fees because it takes no payments. zenyogi's free plan takes payments and keeps an 8% fee; paid plans have none.

FAQ

Questions coaches and therapists ask

What's the difference between Calendly and booking software?

Calendly is a scheduling tool: it finds a free slot and books a meeting. Booking software like zenyogi also runs the practice around it: a public schedule for groups, passes and memberships, payments, invoices and a website for your clients.

Can clients buy a package of sessions?

Yes. Sell a session pack (for example 5 coaching sessions) for all your 1:1 services or only some of them. Clients book each session with one credit, see what is left in their account, and get the credit back if they cancel in time. For group sessions they use a class pack or a membership.

Does it create invoices?

Yes. On the Studio plan you can create a PDF invoice for any payment or write one by hand, and clients can download it. Unpaid invoices in euros can include a GiroCode for bank transfer.

Can I run group sessions and 1:1 on the same schedule?

On the same site, yes. Group sessions and workshops sit on your schedule page, and 1:1 services have their own booking page next to it. Clients see all their bookings in one account.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan includes a hosted site, your schedule, 1:1 booking and online payments through Stripe or PayPal, with up to two published offerings and an 8% fee on online payments. Studio (€39 a month) removes the fee and adds invoices and a custom domain.
